The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has announced that the tuition fees that pioneer students of the two newly established universities, Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) Ijanikin/Epe and Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) Ikorodu, are required to pay will be reduced by 65%. According to a statement signed by Tokunbo Wahab, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, the management of the two new universities, LASUED and LASUSTECH, proposed a tuition fee of N195, 000:00 for their pioneer students scheduled to resume for the new Academic Session before Governor Sanwo-Olu reduced it
